The Republican Party of Ventura County Endorses Antonio Sabato Jr. for the 26th Congressional Seat

(Ventura County, CA) –The Republican Party of Ventura County recently voted to endorse Antonio Sabàto Jr. in his campaign for the 26thCongressional District. The Central Committee is confident that Sabàto Jr., is the best candidate to support the needs, and values of the district in contrast to ineffectual incumbent Julia Brownley.
“We are strongly united behind Antonio Sabato Jr’s effort to defeat Congresswoman Julia Brownley, an out-of-touch politician who has spent her entire career working for herself rather than her constituents,” said Mike Osborn, Ventura County Republican Party Chairman.
“I am thrilled to receive the endorsement of the Ventura County Republican Central Committee,” Sabàto Jr. said. “I am excited to build a stronger reltionship with our central committee to bring back a focus on values, community safety and ensure a prosperous future. We will not back down from our principles and we will fight to win.”
This endorsement follows many key conservative leaders and organizations including; the Republican Party of Los Angeles, U.S. Representatives Ed Royce, Gus Bilirakis, and Tom McClintock as well as former U.S. Representative Howard “Buck” McKeon. A Jewish Italian American, Antonio Sabàto, Jr., immigrated to California in 1985 seeking a better life with his mother and sister. In 1996, after completing all the necessary steps, he became a United States citizen – a moment he calls “the proudest moment of my life.” As a young man, Antonio went on to establish a successful career as a model and actor, starring in numerous successful television shows and movies, as well as serving as the face of household names like Calvin Klein.
